The Client

MAN 1 Lahat is a prominent Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (Islamic Senior High School) in South Sumatra, operating at a scale that demands national-level authority. With over 140 students successfully transitioning to State Universities annually and a consistent streak of athletic championships, the institution is a powerhouse of academic and character development.

The Challenge

For an institution of this caliber, the major friction point was the admissions process. Before our intervention, the Penerimaan Peserta Didik Baru (PPDB) or new student registration was a manual, fragmented process. The school struggled to manage the massive influx of applicants, track their registration steps, and filter candidates efficiently. Furthermore, their vast achievements lived in separate, disconnected platforms, making it difficult to present a unified digital authority.

The Solution

We architected a high-performance digital ecosystem designed to solve the admissions bottleneck and serve as the madrasah's primary source of truth.


• Streamlined PPDB Registration Flow: We built a dedicated, step-by-step registration portal for students. The system guides applicants clearly from initial sign-up to final acceptance, eliminating confusion and missing documents.
• Advanced Admin Dashboard for Applicant Management: To solve the school's operational chaos, we developed a powerful admin dashboard. This tool allows staff to filter applicants, review submitted documents, and manage students seamlessly through every stage of the PPDB process.
• WordPress Integrated Kabar Berita: We implemented a dynamic news engine for the Kabar Berita section. Rather than forcing the staff to learn a new CMS, we integrated this section directly with their existing legacy WordPress site. News remains actively updated from their familiar platform while displaying in our modern, fast interface.
• Institutional Transparency: A dedicated portal for Visi, Misi, and Program Unggulan (Science Labs, Tahfidz) was built to provide immediate clarity on the madrasah's strategic direction.

• Profil (Visi & Misi): The identity center. Goal: To clearly communicate the institution's values and long-term educational mission.
• Kabar Berita (News): The community heartbeat. Goal: To showcase recent wins and activities, pulled seamlessly from their active WordPress database.
• Kontak: The accessibility hub. Goal: To provide clear, direct lines of communication for parents and partners.
