The Client

Salomo Silitonga and Maysi Tri Hilery Situmorang are a Bataknese couple from Pematangsiantar. Like many Batak families, their relatives and friends are everywhere—Medan, Jakarta, and many other cities. For them, the wedding isn't just a local event; it’s a massive family reunion.

The Challenge

Sending physical invitations to hundreds of people across different islands is slow and expensive. It’s also hard for guests to keep track of details like locations or RSVPing. Salomo and Maysi wanted a way to reach everyone instantly without losing the respect and "feel" of a proper invitation.

The Solution

We built a clean, interactive wedding website that focuses on the experience of being invited.

1. Smooth Interactions Instead of static images, we used simple animations and transitions. As guests scroll, the sections fade in naturally, making the story feel alive. It’s not about flashy effects, but about making the navigation feel high-end and effortless.
2. Everything in One Place We organized the site into clear sections:

• The Reveal: A simple, elegant landing.
• The Profiles: Introducing the couple and their families.
• The Gallery: A high-quality digital photobook.
• The Logistics: Maps, times, and countdowns for the church and reception.
• RSVP: A simple form for guests to confirm their attendance.

3. Background Music To set the mood, the site plays a curated soundtrack as soon as guests enter. It adds an emotional layer that a paper invitation just can’t provide.

The Result

The website solved the distance problem. Salomo and Maysi could share their joy with family in Jakarta or Medan with just one link. Guests loved how easy it was to find the location and leave their wishes.
